The annual GBC Sports Awards hosted by Jose Mari Ruiz and Iain Triay-Clarence. A variety of trophies were awarded throughout the night, building up to the main award; the ‘GBC Sports Person of the Year’. The other gongs celebrate the achievements of the ‘Best Junior Team’ and ‘Best Senior Team’, ‘GBC Junior Sports Person of the Year’, 'Unsung Hero' as well as the ‘Lifetime Achievement’ award. The GBC Sports Awards are were aired live from the Central Hall and was a celebration of local sporting prowess and achievement.
