With Bayside School changing location for the new term, many stories and memories are left behind. A total of ten Headmasters took the baton in the race for education at the old building witnessing different transitions from working under the Christian Brothers, to applying corporal punishment, to moving towards a more caring environment. The Art and Design Department led by Peter Parody have paid tribute to these ten men by inviting former art students to paint portraits of them, and which will now hang in the new school. ‘Portrait of a Headmaster’ follows their story as they sit for the artists and share their stories and experiences.
Starts Wednesday 11th September.
