The Voices of Tomorrow

For the first time, the Gibraltar Parliament is opening its doors to students for a unique series of specially organised debates.

Four teams will take their seats in the chamber, sharing their views on important issues while experiencing first-hand the challenges and responsibilities of parliamentary debate.

Across the three-part series, Team 1 and Team 2 will tackle the question of ultimate freedom of speech, while Team 3 and Team 4 will debate the role of AI in schools and the workplace. The winners of each opening debate will then face off in a final showdown, where only one team can emerge victorious.

More than a competition, the series offers a rare insight into the workings of democracy, giving young people the opportunity to challenge ideas, listen to opposing views and make their arguments heard — The voices of Tomorrow.
