How to Make a Complaint

GBC handles complaints internally in the first instance. To be considered as part of the formal complaints process, complaints must be submitted through one of the official channels below.

You can make a complaint in the following ways:

  • Online: This is the recommended method. Please complete our online complaints form that you can find here or at the bottom of this page.

Stages of the Complaints Process

  1. Submitting Your Complaint

Complaints should be submitted within 30 working days of the relevant broadcast or publication.

Please clearly explain the nature of your complaint.

In the event that your complaint relates to the GRA's Codes of Practice, your complaint will be passed on to the GRA and they will liase with you directly.

  1. All other complaints

A Senior Manager will respond within 20 working days of receiving your complaint.

If you are dissatisfied with the response, you may escalate the matter to the CEO, normally within 20 working days of receiving the initial reply.

 

General Feedback

This complaints procedure does not cover general feedback, comments, or suggestions that do not raise a specific concern about compliance with editorial standards.
