Betfred has unveiled its expanded and refurbished Gibraltar headquarters, describing the investment as a long-term commitment to the Rock, showing its confidence in the market and the local talent that supports it.
The new space, which houses the company's online division, provides a high-spec working environment for its 120 employees and is designed to support collaboration, innovation and future growth.
Betfred has called Gibraltar home for the past 19 years. The company has reiterated that Gibraltar is central to its operations, describing the Rock as a key centre of talent and expertise within the sector.
The refurbished offices have increased capacity, offering a modern workspace designed to support the company's growth ambitions.
Even the meeting spaces and boardrooms reflect the company's identity, with many named after football legends, alongside local figures - former Government Minister Michael Feetham and boxer Tyrone Buttigieg.
Despite challenges facing the sector, including higher taxation and an evolving regulatory landscape, the founder and chairman explained why Gibraltar is important for Betfred's future.
At a difficult time for the industry, Betfred is the latest gaming company in recent months to reinvest in its base on the Rock.
