The Chief Minister is in Madrid to continue talks for a future EU relationship treaty for Gibraltar.

The Government says it remains firmly committed to reaching a treaty which is "safe, secure and beneficial for Gibraltar".

Number Six says this contact between the different parties at all levels is expected to continue going forward.

Fabian Picardo is joined in Madrid by the Attorney General, Michael Llamas, and the Director of Gibraltar House in Brussels, Daniel D'Amato.

The Deputy Chief Minister will attend meetings virtually.

In the Chief Minister's absence, Joseph Garcia will also attend the VE Day commemoration ceremony at the Cross of Sacrifice tomorrow morning.
