Theresa May's Brexit deal has been voted down by 149 votes. This could be the first of three days of voting, with Parliament voting again tomorrow on whether it wants to leave the EU on the 29th of March without a deal. it will vote again on Thursday on whether it will ask for an extension. An extension, however, said Theresa May, had to have a reason for the EU 27 to accept it.

The Government will be releasing information tomorrow on the dangers of a no deal.

For his part Jeremy Corbyn advocated a general election and said he would continue pressing towards staying in the Customs Union.

The Government has given its MPs a free vote.
