It's Debt Awareness Week and the Citizens Advice Bureau is offering advice to those affected.

CAB says the campaign is an opportunity to raise awareness and encourage conversations about financial wellbeing, responsible lending and the support available to individuals and families who may be struggling with debt.

The Citizens Advice Bureau says the week also highlights the importance of accessible, impartial and confidential advice as well as early intervention.

Shelina Assomull asked CAB's Sharlene Lima what types of debt clients are finding themselves in.

If you or someone you know is struggling with debt you can contact CAB on 20040006, email info@cab.gi or just walk in to the office.
