Dr Alex Menez publishes book on the discovery of 'Gibraltar 2' - a Neanderthal child’s skull

A book has been published on the discovery of 'Gibraltar 2' explores the story behind a Neanderthal child’s skull.

"Dorothy Garrod and the Devil’s Tower Skull", researched and written by Dr Alex Menez, comes 100 years after its discovery.  The skull would later play a crucial role in developing our understanding of the species.

The book was also the subject of the opening talk this morning at the Calpe Conference
