Gaming minister to meet with industry leaders, with UK gambling tax looming

The Minister with responsibility for gaming is planning to meet with industry professionals next week for the ICE conference in Barcelona. Nigel Feetham has warned of difficulties facing the industry on the Rock, following the UK’s gaming tax plans.

The event is the leading gaming industry trade show. Government says Nigel Feetham will use the opportunity to meet leaders and engage with existing license holders and prospective operators.

Mr Feetham described the event as an opportunity to engage directly with industry leaders, promote Gibraltar’s

strengths as a leading gaming jurisdiction, and ensure we continue to evolve the industry locally.”

The ICE conference is held from the 19 to 21 January 2026
