There’s good news for travellers about to set off on their summer holidays with strikes at Gatwick cancelled.
Industrial action by hundreds of workers and baggage handlers belonging to Unite was expected to cause major disruption.
Workers at three of the four firms planning to strike have now voted in favour of revised pay deals.
Easyjet had already cancelled some flights in and out of Gatwick in order to ensure passengers were notified well in advance.
The news comes after strike action at Heathrow was also called off. 29 days of walkouts were planned although the airport had said it would not be impacted.
Unite members at Heathrow have voted to accept a pay increase worth between 15.5 and 17.5 percent.
Air traffic control strikes continue across Europe.
