Government clarifies beach and pool service hours during transitional arrangements period

The Government has clarified the transitional arrangements currently in place at beaches, pools and bathing pavilions ahead of the official start of operations on the 13th of June.

It has confirmed that, on weekdays, accessibility services at a number of sites are only available from four in the afternoon.

It cites staff shortages, as many lifeguards and beach attendants are still in full-time education.

The Government has apologised for any confusion or inconvenience caused.
