Government says issues preventing delivery of medicines have been resolved

The Government says while there may be one pharmacy out of a particular stock item, the issues preventing the delivery of medicines last week have been resolved.

In response to GBC questions as to whether some orders were still being held up in Spain, it says the information it has is that "pharmacies have all products" and that "there are no known items which cannot be prescribed and/or sourced".

It says all the trucks which were at the Gibraltar/La Linea compound were cleared last week, adding "all initial issues should now be fully resolved and items have gone through the new procedures".

It says the GHA pharmacy is monitoring the situation and is in regular contact with all pharmacies in Gibraltar, and that it is not concerned about stock levels.
