GSD says Domiciliary Care 'in crisis', but Govt stands by changes to service

The GSD has criticised the Government for what it says is a “crisis” in domiciliary care.

The Opposition blames poor planning and oversight, calling for immediate action to resolve the disruptions. 

In response, the Government has apologised for the issues but defended its decision to tender the contract, emphasizing increased investment and efforts to improve service standards.

Iain Triay Clarence spoke to Shadow Care Minister Atrish Sanchez, and asked what her takeaway was from Tuesday's public meeting on the subject.
