Madame Speaker attends Speakers' Conference in London

Gibraltar’s Speaker of Parliament, Karen Ramagge, attended the 4th Commons and Overseas Territories Speakers’ Conference in London last week.

Accompanied by Phillip Borge McCarthy, Secretary to the Gibraltar Branch, Madam Speaker joined counterparts from across the Commonwealth to discuss parliamentary democracy, good governance, and shared legislative challenges.

Highlights included keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops promoting parliamentary collaboration.

During her visit, Madam Speaker also had an audience with King Charles and attended the Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace.
