2026 marks one hundred years since the excavation of the second Neanderthal skull in Gibraltar. In 1926 Dorothy Garrod found the skull belonging to a four-year-old Neanderthal boy, now known as Flint.
The Museum will be marking the anniversary with a series of events, culminating with a milestone Calpe Conference in September.
Jonathan Sacramento spoke to Professor Clive Finlayson, and first asked him what the discovery of Flint tells us about the history of Neanderthals on the Rock.
