The Opposition says that if the Government brings forward the start of the bathing season, it must ensure the necessary services are in place beforehand.

GSD MP Atrish Sanchez says that despite the announcement that lifeguards, beach attendants and accessibility services would be operating from the 23rd of May, many have arrived at beaches and swimming pools to find those services unavailable.

Speaking to our reporter Kevin Ruiz, Atrish Sanchez questioned the Government’s reference to "transitional arrangements", saying there has been little explanation of what the public should expect.
