Power cut across Gibraltar

There was a widespread power cut across Gibraltar. It followed a major outage only a couple of weeks ago.

The afternoon BA flight was diverted to Malaga after Air Traffic Control closed.

RAF Gibraltar tweeted, "A territory-wide power outage in Gibraltar is currently affecting operations at RAF Gibraltar/Gibraltar International Airport Please contact your airline in the first instance for flight information. Flights will resume as soon as possible."

GBC understands the power cut also affected traffic lights and led to the closure of Europa Pool.
