This year’s Gibraltar Fair will be held at the Victoria Stadium.
The Self-Determination for Gibraltar Group says it has been looking for a new location after the the fair spent several years at Rooke.
It will take place from the 23rd-31st August, with the group promising a “vibrant and diverse array of attractions and activities for all ages”.
The SDGG has thanked the Gibraltar Football Association for the use of the stadium, before it’s set to be demolished to make way for a new national stadium in the autumn.
Cultural Services is confident it'll be the best location the Gibraltar Fair has had in years - since it was based at the old Naval Ground, where Campion Park and Mid Town are now. Chief Cultural Officer Seamus Byrne said the set-up and use of the fair will respect the fact it is next to the runway.
