Washington Programme for young Gibraltarians relaunched

The Government has relaunched the Washington Programme for young Gibraltarians.

Redesigned as the Washington DC Shadow Programme, it will fund up to 15 Gibraltarian students and young professionals for an 8 week period in the US Capital.

Originally an internship programme, the format now follows a structured shadowing model, offering executive shadowing, structured mentorship and leadership workshops, with a range of briefings and conferences as part of the planned activities.

The Government will fund the programme fee, accommodation, the institutional programme, and medical insurance for those selected for the eight week period. 

The programme will run from 28th September to 20th November this year, with applications open until the 20th July.

Candidates will have to fulfil certain residency and educational requirements and provide relevant documentation in order to be considered.
