Youngsters at CYE-CYL summer programme fundraising for EV Foundation

Youngsters attending CYE-CYL's summer programme will be fundraising for the EV Foundation at the Piazza on Saturday.

'Change Your Energy - Change Your Life' is designed to empower those who sign up for the programme, while the EV Foundation helps vulnerable children and disadvantaged families

Before they could begin to raise funds, the kids had a tricky obstacle to overcome: getting their ideas approved... by dragons!

The road to their fund-raising has not been easy and the students presented their ideas to a panel of dragons, who had to decide how much money the charity would give them to invest in the wares they'll be selling tomorrow.

Among the panel was Marlene Dalli, who says the experience also gave the youngsters a chance to step outside their comfort zone.
