April sees record number of cruise calls

Gibraltar has recorded a record-breaking 41 cruise calls in April, including three inaugural visits, marking a 41% increase compared to April last year.

The Tourist Board says the surge reaffirms the Rock’s position as a top Mediterranean port.

Gibraltar is now on track to receive nearly 240 cruise calls this year - up from 187 in 2024.

Tourism Minister Christian Santos says the growth reflects successful efforts to attract quality cruise operators while maintaining a strong focus on sustainable tourism.
