The EU’s Entry Exit System comes into full use today, on what had been Gibraltar Treaty implementation day.

With that now delayed until July, Gibraltar residents will not need to use the system when crossing into Spain.

However, other third country nationals, such as UK citizens, will be required to comply. The UK Government has issued travel advice, warning EES may take passengers extra time to complete so be prepared for longer waits at borders.
