The Cabinet has met twice to review the draft EU treaty, despite there being no agreed final text.

The disclosure came during the first Parliamentary session of the year, with questions on the potential impact of a future treaty on law enforcement and Gibraltar House in Brussels. The Minister for Justice, Nigel Feetham, revealed that Cabinet meetings have taken place over the last two Mondays.

Intervening during further Opposition questions, the Deputy Chief Minister clarified that Ministers have been considering a draft document, stressing that negotiations have not yet produced an agreed treaty text.
