CM: EU/UK Treaty an issue politicians have obligation to get right for future generations

The Chief Minister has told GBC the EU/UK Treaty over Gibraltar is an issue which all politicians have an obligation to get right for future generations.

Fabian Picardo was expressing the hope that Parliament can work together and rally behind the motion which is the first step towards the UK's ratification.

Yesterday afternoon, the Opposition was briefed on the final Treaty text in what the Chief Minister described as a cordial and lengthy meeting.
