Convicted Paedophile, Charles Montegriffo has been sentenced to 14 years in prison.

Chief Justice Anthony Dudley sentenced Montegriffo on the most serious offence, assault of a child on at least 10 separate occasions. He gave the 90 year old a 20% credit for his age and health and 20% for his early guilty plea.

Justice Dudley also told the court that due to his age and frailty, there’s a possibility Montegriffo could be released on compassionate grounds but that would be up to the Minister for Justice to decide adding he expressed no view what’s so ever.
