Devil’s Tower Road worst hit as Storm Oriana sweeps Gibraltar

Storm Oriana tore through Gibraltar this morning, with Devil’s Tower Road one of the most affected areas.

Gusts of up to 96 km per hour, intensified by the wind tunnel effect, created dangerous conditions, forcing police  to set up a control point and close the road to motorcyclists.

Along Sir Herbert Miles Road, parts of a warehouse roof were torn away, restricting access to Catalan Bay.
