An exhibition celebrating 60 years of the Gibraltar Photographic Society was opened in Tetouan, Morocco.

The exhibition showcased nearly 70 photos taken by 25 members of the society – from landscapes and wildlife shots to portraits and street photography.

It was attended by photographers, artists, cultural representatives and dignitaries from northern Morocco, and also saw a performance by a traditional Moroccan orchestra.

The exhibition was opened remotely by the Minister for Developing Relations with Morocco.

John Cortes said “the exhibition stands as a testmanent to the power of artistic collaboration to connect people across borders and strengthen ties across the Strait of Gibraltar”.
