The Falkland Islands flew above No 6 Convent Place on Sunday to mark the 44th anniversary of Falkland Islands Liberation Day.
Observed annually on the 14th of June, Liberation Day commemorates the end of the 1982 conflict and the liberation of the Falkland Islands following the Argentine invasion. The Government says the occasion honours the 255 British servicemen and three Falkland Islands civilian women who lost their lives in defence of freedom, democracy and the British way of life.
Gibraltar offered support to British forces involved in the operation to retake the Islands.
