Former bishops to return home to Gibraltar in their retirement

The Bishop, Charles Azzopardi has arranged for a flat to be available at Bishop House for whenever the previous Bishop wants to come back to Gibraltar.

Bishop Emeritus Carmel Zammit has returned to Malta following his retirement, although he says Gibraltar will always be in his heart.

Speaking to GBC, Bishop Azzopardi said he has also extended an invitation to the former Bishop, Bishop Emeritus Ralph Heskett to return to live on the Rock following his retirement.

There's an extended interview with Bishop Carmel Zammit on Viewpoint, on Maundy Thursday at 9pm, when we will also hear from Bishop Charles Azzopardi.
