Gibraltar NASUWT welcomes announcement of 49 new permanent teaching posts

The teachers' union Gibraltar NASUWT has welcomed the budget announcement that 49 new permanent posts for teachers will be created this year.

It says this is a welcome commitment to enhancing stability in the profession - and an investment not just in teachers, but in future generations.

The union also highlights ongoing work with the Government to establish a new policy for supply workers.

It says it will continue to push for its members to be valued and treated fairly.
