Gibraltar is not yet on track to be carbon neutral by 2030, though the Environment Minister told GBC he remains optimistic.

John Cortes was responding to questions about Gibraltar's 25 year environment plan, which was praised in a National Day letter by King Charles 3rd. He said the praise shows serious international support at the highest level for Gibraltar's environmental plans.

He believes the data centre planned near the Port could - once finished - actually improve the environment in the area.
