Government establishes special COVID-19 Response Fund in order to provide for all expenditure incurred

The Government has established a special fund to be known as the COVID-19 Response Fund in order to provide for all expenditure incurred, benefits payable and fiscal measures adopted in response to the pandemic and for the settlement of any costs and expenditure related to it.

It's also given an extension of the time period for claiming the payment of a prize in the Government lottery.

This applies from draw number 19 of 2019 to draw number 5 of 2020. The time period has been extended by three months. The legislation therefore covers payment of lottery tickets from the 24th of June to the end of the year.
