Jury discharged in case of sexual activity involving a child

The jury in the trial of Joshua Benabu has been discharged after a juror informed the judge they knew the complainant’s parents.
Mr Benabu denies five counts of sexual activity involving a child.
The case has been adjourned to the 28th of May, when a new trial date is expected to be set.
