The Government says recent interviews with speakers at the upcoming Literary Festival have reached an estimated audience of nearly four million people across the UK.

It says interviews with authors Grant Harrold, Wayne Sleep and John Suchet were hosted across BBC regional stations, with a further pre-recorded interview with Mr Suchet also syndicated across 110 independent stations.

Minister for Culture and Tourism, Christian Santos, said, “The Gibunco Gibraltar Literary Festival has once again demonstrated the Rock’s unique ability to attract acclaimed authors, journalists, broadcasters and performers. The reach achieved across the UK highlights the festival’s success and reinforces Gibraltar’s position as a destination that celebrates culture, creativity and connection and draws visitors through its rich history and welcoming community.”

The Gibunco Gibraltar Literary Festival takes place from the 10th to the 16th November. Tickets are available on buytickets.gi or at the Garrison Library Box Office on weekdays between 10am and 4pm.
