Man cautioned by police after parachuting off top of the Rock

A man has been cautioned by the Royal Gibraltar Police after parachuting off the top of the Rock Wednesday afternoon.

The RGP says this is an offence under new legislation designed to prevent base jumping and parachuting from the Rock.

Officers received a call that a person had parachuted out of the Upper Rock Nature Reserve.

They arrested the 35 year old American shortly after he landed on Eastern Beach

He was interviewed at New Mole House Police Station, and was released with a caution.
