New areas of Moorish Castle set to be revealed to public in coming months

Ongoing works at Moorish Castle will open up sections of the site to the public for the first time, as well as reveal areas which haven’t been visible in centuries.

Walkways connecting the Castle to the Northern defences will also provide a direct route up from Casemates.

The current phase of refurbishment hasn’t yet get a completion date, but it is hoped the Castle will be reopened in the coming months.
