New phone system launching in October at Housing Department & Housing Works Agency

A new phone system will be launching at the Housing Department and Housing Works Agency on the 1st of October.

It will feature a queue system informing callers of their place, clearer call handling and a streamlined phone menu.

The Housing Department number is 20075603 and the Housing Works Agency can be reached on 20048440.

The Government says some callers believed their calls were not being answered due to the continuous ring-tone, when all the lines were engaged.
