Smartphone Free Childhood held its first public meeting yesterday evening at the Gibtelecom Conference Hall.
The meeting saw parents, educators and health officials discuss the impact of smartphones and social media on children.
It was supported by GibSams, and attended by the Director of Public Health, Dr Helen Carter, and the Director of Education, Keri Scott.
Members Nick Borge and Selwyn Figueras told GBC the group was a way of offering support to like minded parents.
