Parliament delegation attends 54th CPA BIM Region Conference at Welsh Assembly

A delegation from the Gibraltar Parliament attended the 54th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association BIM Region Conference last week at the Welsh Assembly in Cardiff.

The delegation included Ministers Leslie Bruzon and Christian Santos, alongside Opposition MPs Edwin Reyes and Craig Sacarello.

The conference, themed “Addressing the Needs of a Modern Parliament,” explored how legislatures can evolve in today’s digital and democratic landscape.

Minister Santos, Gibraltar’s first openly gay male minister, spoke about LGBTQ+ representation in politics.

All Gibraltar delegates contributed to discussions during the conference’s plenary sessions and workshops.
