One of the surviving occupants of a RHIB involved in a fatal collision with an RGP vessel has claimed the police had rammed his boat in the preceding pursuit.

The ongoing inquest is exploring the circumstances surrounding the deaths of Mustafa Dris Mohamed, and Mohamed Abdeslam Ahmed in the early hours of March 8th 2020.

It is now known the RGP chased a Spanish vessel into Spanish waters leading to a collision.

The Gibraltarian officers maintain they thought they were in Gibraltar waters at all times.

In a statement, Nordin Dris Lahsen, of Ceuta, accused the RGP of ‘coming directly at them’ in the lead up to the crash which killed his uncle and another man.
