Retail tobacco prices rise by 23% - 46% per pack of 20 since last September

The minimum retail prices for the different types of tobacco have risen between 23% and 46% since last September.

These have been published in the latest gazette.

Per packet of 20, Premium Cigarettes should retail for no less than £5.44, up 29.5% from £4.20.

For Mid-High Cigarettes, no less than £4.68, up just over 46% from £3.20.

For Mid-Ordinary Cigarettes for no less than £3.69, up 23% from £3.

And for Ordinary Cigarettes for no less than £3.35, up just over 24% from £2.70.
