Research into Childhood Cancer has presented five pieces of medical equipment to be used for the Paediatric services in the Health Authority.

The equipment has been put to good use immediately and is now in the Emergency Department and at the Children’s Health Centre.

RICC’s donation includes two pulse oximeters for continuous physiological monitoring and two nebulisers to support rapid delivery of respiratory treatments.

At the Children’s Health Centre, RICC donated a Stadio-meter, for millimetre-level accuracy in height measurement, vital for determining safe and appropriate paediatric treatment plans.

Acting GHA Director General, Lysandra Debono has thanked the Trust for its continued kindness and generous donations. She described the support as invaluable adding community partners such as RICC, significantly enhance services and contribute directly to improved patient outcomes.
