Road closure and bus service changes over long weekend

Europa Road will be closed to all traffic from 6am on Saturday 23rd August to 11pm on Monday 25th August.

This is due to crane dismantling works in the Reserve development, on the site of the old Casino.

Due to the road closure, parking will be suspended along South Barrack Road to allow for emergency vehicle access.

Bus routes will be changed as follows:

Route 2: Market Place to Europa Point via the East Side. The return route will serve all stops with a diversion via Schomberg.

Route 3: Diverts along Red Sands Road through Rosia Road and up to St Joseph's School.

Route 7: Starts at Mount Alvernia, then via Schomberg, Trafalgar, Convent Place, King's Bastion, Fish Market Steps and back via the East Side.

Night Bus N8: Both buses operating via the East Side, and no South service.
