Scholarship applications now open for 2025–2026 academic year

The Department of Education has opened the application window for scholarships for the upcoming academic year.

Students wishing to continue their studies - whether through postgraduate, discretionary, or distance learning course - have until Tuesday 24th June to apply.

To be eligible, applicants must be at least 18 years old by September and have lived in Gibraltar for at least ten years. Priority will be given to those pursuing further qualifications in their current field or in areas considered critical to Gibraltar’s future.

The Department advises that late applications, or those submitted using the wrong form, will not be considered.

It says decisions will be communicated from Monday 21st July, and applicants may need to make travel arrangements before hearing back.
