Shadow Europe Minister in Gibraltar for brief on proposed air terminal & border arrangements

Shadow Europe Minister, Wendy Morton, is in Gibraltar for a brief on the proposed air terminal and border arrangements ahead of a treaty on Gibraltar's future relationship with the EU.

Wendy Morton was Minister for Europe from February 2020 until December 2021, a key time in the transition and exit from the European Union.

She worked extensively on no deal planning and was co Chair of the 'non negotiated outcome' Board with the Deputy Chief Minister.

The visit was arranged by Gibraltar House in London in order to update her on treaty negotiations and other current affairs.

She will be meeting representative organisations of business and commerce during her visit, and had a working lunch at Convent Place hosted by the Deputy Chief Minister together with the Minister for Health, Gemma Arias-Vasquez, and the Minister for Justice, Trade and Industry, Nigel Feetham.
