Shadow Minister for Finance highlights economic uncertainties in treaty

In his response to the treaty motion, the Shadow Minister for Finance criticised the government for not sharing the results of any economic impact studies or financial stress tests before publishing the treaty.

Roy Clinton said this had left the Opposition in the dark.

As a result, Mr Clinton said that while he was content to give this agreement a chance to prosper, what we have been presented with left a lot to be desired.

He also highlighted the importance of Gibraltar having a seat in the Co-operation Council which will be established through this treaty.
