Starlink satellite internet now available in Gibraltar as Elon Musk confirms launch on X

Starlink satellite internet is now available in Gibraltar.

The service uses low Earth orbit satellites to deliver high-speed broadband, offering an alternative to traditional connections without the need for cables.

Its arrival was announced by Elon Musk on X, with the Chief Minister welcoming the development, saying he is pleased this is now a reality for Gibraltar.

Michaela Potts of Electrical Marine Services says Starlink provides an additional connectivity option for both residents and businesses, with services now available locally.
