The Chief Minister says the last 48 hours have changed the state of the nation for the better.
Fabian Picardo delivered his last budget response.
He said the new arrangements under the treaty will not just be better for the economy, but for people.
In his hours-long budget response, the Chief Minister took aim at the Leader of the Opposition for not being at the frontier at midnight when provisional implementation began.
Fabian Picardo said Keith Azopardi had been wrong about every one of the international treaties he has commented on.
He also criticised the GSD for, he said, not doing enough to build the important relationships in Brussels, London and Madrid on which Gibraltar can rely.
On his record in office, Mr Picardo said there had been fewer power cuts during this administration than under the GSD, and that their policy on the Savings Bank would have cost the taxpayer 529 million pounds.
He said in the twilight of his time in office, he wanted to demonstrate he's keeping every promise made by this government.
And Fabian Picardo, Former Chief Minister Sir Peter Caruana, and Gibraltar Chronicle Editor Brian Reyes will be on Viewpoint.
Parliament has been adjourned to Friday morning at nine.
