Technical issues affecting Air Traffic Control now resolved.

Technical issues which affected Air Traffic Control radio communications during Friday morning have now been resolved.

As at 1pm, Air Traffic Control was fully operational and able to accept traffic as normal.

The airport was not accepting air traffic throughout the morning with three flights diverted to Malaga.

The Government has thanked passengers and airlines for their patience.
